The four most important things to keep in mind while planning a tour is:
There are a lot of destinations in Andaman in different islands, and categorizing them based on Islands is easy because every islands takes one whole day to cover. Except for North Bay, Ross Island and Jolly Buoy, because you can cover any two of them in a single day as the island is the attraction itself and there are no specific tourist places here.
Coming to the question, add the following destinations, to make your tour perfect:
This is the capital city of Andaman, housing the only commercial airport and is one of the first destinations you will visit while traveling in the islands. Port Blair is what you will call a developed city compared to the other islands, and traveling here is easier. The place has the most amount of tourist attractions, and you will stay here for atleast 2 days to cover everything.
Havelock Island is the most famous destination you can visit from Kolkata, and is famous for its tropical and natural beauty. The island has to be reached by a ferry or cruise and has some of the best beach-side resorts in Andaman. The island offers a combined mixture of casual sightseeing and water activities which is perfect for a wholesome vacation.
Neil is what you call a heaven for quietness. The island is as raw as it gets and is surrounded by tall tropical tress and some of the most clean and untouched beaches in Andaman. The best part is that this destination houses some of the best resorts in the isles. The island has to be reached by a ferry or cruise and we recommend staying here for atleast one day.
North Bay has the most number of water sports in a single place, and is a great place to be if you're planning for water sports in the isles. Although there are no specific attraction here for exploration, the place can be added to your tour, if you are not visiting Elephant Beach in Havelock. This place can be reached via a boat and usually a trip to Ross Island is also included, as half a day is enough to cover this island.
This island is great for exploration, and has a wide variety of ruins surrounded by forest canopies, perfect for a history trip. The island has a lot to offer in terms of variety and you can explore the old British ruins, visit the deer sanctuary, and attend the light and sound show which demonstrates why Ross was chosen as the administrative area for British rule in Andaman.
Since every island here takes the whole day to explore, we recommend planning for at least 3 Nights in Andaman, so you can atleast visit the three best islands.
Most people visiting here from Kolkata stay for around 4 Nights, which lets them explore all of the best destinations and enjoy a bit of tour in the city, without feeling rushed.
We recommend planning for at-least 5 Nights so you can explore everything in isles and feel the wholesomeness of Andaman at its purest.

For traveling to different islands in Andaman, you will have 2 options. Either select the Govt. ferry or go with a cruise.
Most of the travelers visiting Andaman, opt for cruises because they are fast and reliable, plus getting tickets for them is easy. If you are planning for a Govt. ferry, you will either have to find someone in the islands to get the tickets for you or you will have to book them when you come here from Kolkata, as there is no system for online booking. Moreover, the tickets sell out really fast because it is used by islanders.
For cruises you can get the tickets online by visiting their respective websites. We recommend traveling in cruise because, it gives you a better experience and a comfortable journey.
