How to Reach Radhanagar Beach:

  • Bus:
    Govt. owned A/C and Non-A/C buses are available from the jetty to the Radhanagar Beach.
    The first bus from jetty departs at 6:20 AM and reaches there by 7:15 AM. Following this, a bus is available almost every hour, i.e, 8:45 AM, 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 11:15 AM, 12:45 PM, 3:45 PM, and 5:15 PM. Ticket cost for NonA-/C is INR 30 while the A/C bus charges INR 50.
  • Prebooked Cabs:
    Prebooked cabs are considered the best way to reach, mainly because it's comfortable. Cab from the jetty charges around INR‌ 1500 for A/C and INR‌ 1200 for Non-A/C for the complete trip which includes going there, coming back and the waiting time. It generally takes around 18 minutes to reach there, depending on the traffic.

    You can also find a lot of cabs waiting around the jetty which can be booked on the spot to take you to the beach directly, who charge INR 1700 for the same trip, which can be negotiated.
  • Rental Scooter:
    Rental Scooter is great for small families and bachelors as it allows for a better view of the surroundings, so you can enjoy the view while traveling to Radhanagar Beach. The usual charge for a rental cost around INR‌ 500 for the whole day, petrol has to be bought separately. It is always advised to take an offline map of the island with you, and leave early from the Radhanagar Beach as the street lights, shops are scarce.

    There are a lot of Rental Bike shops throughout Havelock Island, the closest one to the jetty called “Bike Renting” which is located around 160 meters away, which can be easily reached by walking. You can also take the card of the respective shop and order a rental bike after you reach your hotel.
  • Shared Jeep:
    Fixed route shared jeeps and cabs are available to and fro the beach, which charges around INR‌ 50 to travel from the jetty to Radhanagar Beach. Shared jeeps can be found near the jetty and follow no specific timings. You can also find them outside the beach till 6 PM. Jeeps are faster than buses but can get a bit jammed as they are mostly used by locals to travel around the island.
