October to May has the calmest seas and the most reliable ferries. June to September is noticeably cheaper, but crossings can be cancelled at short notice, so we build slack into those itineraries rather than pretending the weather will behave.

Package prices cover hotels, ferries, private transfers, sightseeing and permits. We quote flights separately so you can see exactly what the ground portion costs, and we are happy to book them alongside if you would rather have it all handled together.

Five nights is the honest minimum for Port Blair, Havelock and Neil without spending most of the trip on ferries. Four works well if you drop one island. Anything under that and we would rather talk you into a shorter, better trip than sell you a rushed one.

Indian nationals do not need a permit for the main islands. Foreign nationals are issued one on arrival at Port Blair. Restricted areas such as Baratang need separate paperwork, and we handle that for you before you travel.

Most guests spend between Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 5,000 per person at Elephant Beach. Because activities are paid on the ground, you only spend on what you actually decide to do once you have seen the conditions.

We rebook you, extend the hotel if it is needed, and rearrange the following day around the new crossing. Because our team is on the islands and the cabs and boats are ours, this usually gets sorted before you have finished breakfast.
